Shipping
Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on delivery location and the size/weight of the purchased products. All orders are shipped out of British Columbia, Canada using Canada Post, UPS, Fedex, ICS, Canpar, Purolator or DHL. Packages that have cleared US customs may be transferred to you by additional carriers.
Standard Shipping Transit Times: Apex Botanicals processes orders 4 days a week (Tuesday-Friday). A verified tracking number can be found on the delivery confirmation email. Standard delivery time is 3-8 business days for all Canadian addresses. Arrival time into the United States will depend on US Customs, which is out of our control, however we do everything we can to make sure our packages are not held at the border.
PO Boxes: Apex Botanicals will happily deliver to your PO Box. Please add the PO Box information to address line 2 during checkout.
Insurance Fees: there may be an additional charge to a high value package during transit. We will contact you if this is the case, and you may opt out of the insurance at your own risk and discretion.
Tax Policy: the appropriate tax rate will be charged based on the delivery location of the item. US purchases are tax exempt.
Backordered Items: on rare occasions, we may run out of stock of an item. This may cause a slight delay of shipment for your order. If an item you ordered is going to be backordered for an extended period of time, we will notify you via e-mail of this delay and then automatically ship the products to you as soon as they are available.
Order Status & Tracking: all orders shipped will be provided with an online tracking number for status and location tracking. Please use this tracking number to monitor your package.
International Orders: All international orders will be sent by tracked international air and typically arrive within 7-14 business days. Customs may hold your package and shipping times could be increased. Additional custom fees may be added to your package upon arrival. This cost is at the sole ownership of the purchaser. If for some reason your package is denied at customs, it will be returned to us and your order will be refunded in full.
