Our Salix nigra (Willow Bark) herbal tincture is a medicinal herb that is clinically used to treat joint pain, headaches and low back pain. It is one of the most commonly used herbs in cases of osteoarthritis. It is also used to relieve a fever caused by the common cold.

Production Method: This Salix nigra (Willow Bark) herbal tincture was crafted using a whole-herb percolation extraction which produces a more concentrated and bio-available final product compared to the traditional (folk) maceration method.

Recommended Use(s): 

• Used in Herbal Medicine for the relief of minor joint pain due to osteoarthritis.
• Used in Herbal Medicine for short-term relief of low back pain.
• Used in Herbal Medicine to relieve headache pain.
• Used in Herbal Medicine to relieve fever associated with the common cold.

Recommended Dosage: Adults 18 years and older - work up from 1 to 15 drops per day to a maximum of 12ml 3 times per day, or as directed by your health care provider.

• If you are taking anticoagulants or products containing acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other salicylates, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
• If you experience gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, heartburn or diarrhea, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
• If you have asthma or peptic ulcer disease, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.

Contraindications:

• If you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other salicylates, do not use this product.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product.
